These young people have experienced assault, bullying, incarceration, and discrimination which made those challenges even greater; so great in fact, some contemplated suicide. These amazing young people, with the support of their family, friends, and even strangers have found their inner strength and their voices. They are sharing their stories of survival and perseverance to let others know they are not alone and that healing is possible.    The film is an extension of USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin’s Kids in Crisis series, which over the past three years has uncovered rising suicide rates and gaps in mental health care in Wisconsin.
